Wist u dat?

De lychee of Chinese aardbei (want oorspronkelijk uit China afkomstig) komt tegenwoordig in veel tropische gebieden voor (Madagaskar, Mauritius...). Ze groeit aan trossen tot wel 30 stuks aan bomen van wel 20 meter hoog. Lychee is rijk aan vitamine C en potassium.
